Thanks for the response Sonja!    I agree with you and I'm not a 'fan' of zoos either.  Especially the ones I've seen in the states where the animals are well fed, but devoid of any social contact (human or otherwise).  The animals in the National Zoo for example all have a 'vacant stare' if you know what I mean.  You can see some of those shots on my website, www.JourneyAmerica.org  Again, thanks for the response!
