I'm not sure hosts will "adapt" and start to ignore emails. The email that she sends out isn't spam - it has useful info in that she asks if having kids are ok. If hosts start ignoring emails that ask these questions, then they are going to miss out on bookings.
Asking "whats your best price" may be against AirBnB's TOS, though.
