Yuendumu Men's Museum - ABC Radio National
In 1971, in the community of Yuendumu, three hundred kilometres from Alice Springs, a group of senior Warlpiri men constructed a special building to house sacred objects, and recreated some ochre cave paintings on its walls; the building became known as the Yuendumu Men's Museum. Almost forty years later these murals were almost forgotten - but over the past few years they've been made accessible again, as part of the revival of this remarkable museum.
