Which offers Las Vegas a better ride - taxi or Uber?

A funny thing happened on my way to writing a story about the experience of riding with Uber.The service went away.It was almost like the time I flew on National Airlines for the first time, only to land in Dallas and learn that the airline was discontinuing operations later that day.At least I was still in Las Vegas with a way to get home when Uber quit.
