Village Trekking in the Highlands of Ethiopia

Ethiopia is for altitude lovers, with peaks in its northern highlands that reach over 14,000 feet. As a Denver native living in the high elevation capital city of Addis Ababa, I feel right at home in the Ethiopian highlands’ thin air. Shortly after arriving I met another gal from Colorado over beers on a Thursday night.
