Dubai, a city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is known today as a trendy, cosmopolitan playground attracting millions of annual visitors. Located on the southeastern coast of the Persian Gulf, Dubai is both one of the UAE’s seven emirates (the equivalent of a principality) and a city within the emirate.
