The history of Boeing and the future of passenger flight
In 1916 William Boeing began his company a few miles out of Seattle Washington, in a building now known as the Red Barn. Today it is part of the Museum of Flight. Historian Mike Lombardi takes Robyn Williams on a tour of the museum tracing some milestones in the company’s history. Then David Fisher ponders the future of aviation at a time when COVID-19 has led to the shutdown of much air travel and left airlines crippled.
