The best market in Luang Prabang, Laos

Luang Prabang’s night market: Going for the Waitrose Massive. Clue: It’s not the tourist one. As night falls on Luang Prabang, the main street is shut to traffic. To be honest, a driver wouldn’t have a cat in hell’s chance of getting down there anyway. The street is taken over by temporary stalls, some selling fruit juices and those Lao baguette sandwiches that are so welcome after time spent hunting a decent sarnie in Thailand.
