Strumble Head

Wednesday, 07 September 2011  I send a postcard to my former class at school, on which I have drawn a seal’s head looking curiously out of the water. Although I am happy to be away, it becomes apparent that I am still very connected to my old life, imagining what my pupils might be doing at this time of day, picturing them in their classroom or hearing their comments on the things I see on my walks … It seems that I carry them with me still.
