Sable Island: Canada’s newest national park is full of shipwrecks and wild horses | Roadtrippers
It’s been called “the graveyard of the Atlantic.” Due to the frequent bouts of heavy fog, nasty and sudden storms, this crescent-shaped island has seen over 350 recorded shipwrecks over the years. In fact, many of the shipwrecked horses survived and today there are 400 wild horses just hanging out on the island.
