Resting In Peace: The Fight to Rebury Native Remains in Texas

In 2011, the 1,200-year-old skeletal remains of a young man were unearthed by a team of archaeologists on the banks of the San Marcos River in Texas, just northeast of San Antonio. The remains were brought to a facility at Texas State University where they were tested and stored along with the bodies of more than 100 other Native American remains.
