As much as I brag about the beauty of Rural India, the hospitality and warmth of its people, and the experience you get as a traveler, it is not unknown that the villages have their own issues. Some are genuine, whereas others are made sensational for obvious reasons. I have been fortunate to travel extensively in the villages of Western, Northern and North Eastern India in last three years.
