Quito: South America’s Unexplored Capital

When asked to name a South America capital, people will often jump right in with Buenos Aires or perhaps Montevideo. Many will name Rio de Janeiro, even though it hasn’t been Brazil’s capital since 1958! The one thing you can be sure of is that very few people will pick Quito – Ecuador’s capital city.
