"Origins" - a literary graphic essay about atlases

Kristen Radtke is a video essayist and nonfiction writer living in Iowa. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Gulf Coast, Fourth Genre, Bellingham Review, Copper Nickel, Puerto Del Sol, The Iowa Review, South Loop Review, and others. She is working on a collection of essays about aftermath and abandoned places at the University of Iowa's Nonfiction Writing Program.
