New platform for indie travel creators and travellers

TravelFor Local is a non-profit start-up. We are creating both an online platform and a community where sustainable "indie" travel creators can meet travellers. We want to promote sustainability at all levels of travelling because we believe it is of vital importance that our travels are as sustainable as possible. We now need you!

The journey of TravelFor Local began with Anton and Nedim who traveled around the world. In Nedim and Anton an idea (a seed) grew stronger and stronger: to create an online platform where trip creators and travellers can meet. This seed has now grown into a small tree with nine people (branches). A group of individuals who together want to change the traditional travel industry!

We all believes that travelling can be a way to build bridges and can be a tool for tolerance and trust between people.Our team (or tribe, as we choose to call ourselves) come from different parts of Sweden and the world, with varied expertise in many different areas. Sociology, economics, engineering and human rights, to name a few.

We now want to YOU to join us and help our little tree - Travelfor Local - to grow into a very large tree, full of travel creator, travelers and community members - worldwide!
