What is it? This now legendary adventure is currently in its 10th year and is crazier than ever. The race involves over 300 teams driving a third of the way across the Earth’s surface in a vehicle that is woefully (and wonderfully) inappropriate for the task. Once the teams set off, they have no back-up, there is no set route, and there is certainly no guarantee of reaching the finish line, which is a mere 10,000 miles away from London in Ulaanbaatar.
