If you know where to look, you can visit this mysterious desert paradise

There's a magical desert oasis 8 km away from Ica named Huacachina. It's so picturesque you'd swear it was a movie set. The beautiful haven lies in southern Peru, and even though it looks as if it's hidden in the middle of nowhere, it's just a short 10 minute drive to civilization. Huacachina is surrounded on either side by massive sand dunes that can stretch hundreds of feet high, giving the entire resort community a very secluded feel.
