A lot of How Not to Be a Dick articles have been popping up on xoJane recently, most of them (rightly) written from the point of view of the person at the receiving end of the dickery. This isn’t one of those. It’s more a reminder to myself to behave myself while enjoying the wonderful opportunity I’ve had to live and work in another country.
