Florida Cabinet approves list of conservation lands that includes 4 Treasure Coast ranches

JUPITER — Treasure Coast ranches could be spared from urban development after Gov. Rick Scott and the Florida Cabinet approved Tuesday adding local properties to a list of lands the state wants to preserve. The Cabinet approved a list of 70 lands that will be part of the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program.
