About Valerie Berta is a photographer and writer now based in Columbia, Missouri. She graduated in Photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1994 then went on to travel around the world as a photographer and photo editor. Lately she's traveled around the United States with a circus full of animals, a trailer full of kids, and a camera.
