Just about 359 days ago, on a sunlit Friday afternoon, I was sitting in a tiny chai shop in Udaipur, India.I hadn’t planned on spending the entire day there, but the chai was strong, the samosas were cheap, and by 3pm, I had yet to move an inch from my seat at one of the shop’s three tables.
