Dark Tourism at the DMZ

JOINT SECURITY AREA, South KoreaOn the steps of Freedom House, we line up to shoot North Koreans. Like rare birds, we can see them perched on the ramparts across the Joint Security Area, thin outlines of olive drab in the distance. They with their rifles and binoculars, us with our phones and cameras; we stand and watch each other.
