Ask Outbounding: Seeking sustainable travel NGOs

Do you work with or support any NGO(s) connected to responsible travel?

I'm seeking suggestions for organisations loosely connected to our industry. It could be anything - animal welfare & conservation, responsible volunteering, reforestation/carbon offsetting... Ideally someone working in mitigating tourism disruption and promoting more sustainable/inclusive tourism management.

That's a fairly broad net, but anyone working in these areas would be helpful.

We're finally getting round to signing our company up for One Percent for the Planet. Does anyone have any opinions on that org? Is it necessary or could you do the same thing directly with an NGO? Do they take a % of all donations?
