African Arts and Crafts

One of the many issues that Africa has today is how to preserve its indigenous crafts while embracing the technological innovations of the First World in a way that benefits the people and preserves their traditions. I feel we need to get a better understanding of how traditional Africans view their objects, as well as the ideas that underpin the conception and production of African arts and crafts.
