As a result of the COVID-19 epidemic, the African advertising market dropped by nearly a fourth in 2020. Only Latin America saw a steeper decline, with spending plummeting by a third. Africa, on the other hand, has the world's lowest regional ad market, accounting for only 1% of global ad spending and five billion dollars in advertising.
